Sewing seams, ugh

I finished all the knitting on the stripey grey sweater, so now I'm on the un-fun part, sewing up all the pieces to make it a sweater:



There's lots of reverse stockinette to seam together, which I have found to be a particular pain in the ass. I hadn't done this before, and I had to learn to see the proper loops to put the seaming yarn through. Top loop on one side, bottom loop on the other, so that when the seam comes together, the top loop from the one side lies neatly above the bottom loop from the other side. That's the theory, anyway.

What I really need is a nice strong coffee drink and a sunny Saturday afternoon to plow through this part. . .
