According to this article at craftzine.com, the octopus is the new "craft trend" for 2007.
It's certainly an accident that I'm part of a trend. I'm not interested in being trendy, that's for sure. And I would like to point out that I started knitting octopuses waaayyyy back in 2006. . . However, I certainly approve of more crafty octopi, whether made of yarn, or felt, or hotdogs, or what you will. Bring 'em on.
