Finished

I finished the Unst socks a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to take photos of them until today.



Pattern: Unst Socks from Knitting on the Road by Nancy Bush
Yarn: Sea Wool in Ebony
Needles: size 1 bamboo, size 0 for heels and toes

I like these a lot, they have a Gothic Victorian feel to me. They are going to look really fancy with my Converse sneakers. . .

If I ever use this pattern again, I would do something different for the top of the sock. It just needs something more. Maybe some kind of scalloped or picot edging. Well, I'm not really that kind of girl, so maybe just a simple rib.
