I'm making another pair of toe-up socks, based on the Charade pattern from I May Be Knitting A Ranch House.
I followed Cat Bordhi's Standard Toe from New Pathways for Sock Knitters, Book One, and increased to 56 stitches. I really like the increase technique used, which she calls "LLinc" and LRinc." Much more enjoyable than "make 1," which is what I used on my Monster in the Basement socks.
The name of this yarn's colorway is Robin's Nest, which is a very spring-like concept, but the colors also remind me of bare trees, blue skies, and a hint of snow left over from winter.
